group ownership transfer isn't reflected in the UI with 4.0.0 708a0d42

Steps to reproduce:

• create a new group (by an AdminA assigned to AdminA)
• transfer group ownership to another UserB
• group will not be displayed (in the top right corner) for UserB
• group gets displayed only when a new project is added under that group by AdminA
